Work with Gwen

Let’s work out what’s keeping you stuck and what could help.

Perhaps you keep going over the same problem, feel overwhelmed by everything you’re carrying, or know something needs to change but can’t quite explain what.

You don’t have to figure it all out before asking for help.

Across three individual sessions, we’ll look closely at your situation and work through practical tools together. You’ll have time to try them in everyday life before we meet again to discuss what helped, what didn’t and what we can adjust.

What brings you here?

You don’t need to have a neat explanation before we meet. Working out what’s happening is part of what we’ll do together.

You’re doing a lot, but there’s little room for you

Work, family and everyday responsibilities keep taking priority. Something you want for yourself keeps getting pushed aside.

You can’t tell whether you’re getting anywhere

You’re putting in effort, but the result you hoped for hasn’t arrived. It can be difficult to recognise what you’ve learned or what has already changed.

You keep circling the same problem

You think about it, reconsider your options or put it off. You’d like help understanding what’s making it difficult and finding a way forward.

Something needs to change, but you’re unsure what

The way you’ve been approaching things no longer seems to work. You want space to examine your situation and work out what makes sense now.

How we’ll work together:

1. Understand what’s happening

In our first session, I’ll ask questions and learn about your circumstances, what feels difficult and what you’d like help with.

Where useful, we’ll use questionnaires to help us take stock. I’ll explain what the results can and cannot tell us and consider them alongside what you’ve told me.

We’ll begin working on the areas that seem most relevant to you.

2. Practise tools you can use

We’ll usually meet again the following week. This session is hands-on: we’ll work through exercises together, explore what you’ve noticed and adapt the tools to your situation.

Between sessions, you’ll have something specific to try. That might be a writing exercise, noticing patterns throughout your day or putting a plan into practice.

3. Review and adjust

We’ll usually leave three to four weeks before our final session, giving you time to use the tools in everyday life.

Then we’ll look at what helped, what was difficult and what needs adjusting. You can bring back questions and situations that came up as you used the tools.

A set of tools that fits your situation

The exercises we use will depend on what we uncover together.

We might work on recognising progress you’ve overlooked, examining an expectation that is adding pressure, making room for something important or responding differently to a recurring difficulty.

You’ll receive the worksheets and exercises we use so you can return to them afterwards.

My aim is for you to leave with a clearer understanding of your situation, practical experience using the tools and a better sense of when to use them.

The practical details

What’s included?
Three individual sessions of one hour each, plus the worksheets and exercises selected for our work together.

You can also contact me on WhatsApp with questions about the exercises or things that come up as you put our work into practice. I respond between appointments and within working hours; this isn’t an instant-response service.

Where do we meet?
Online via Microsoft Teams. After purchasing, you’ll receive an email with a booking link to choose your first appointment.

When do the sessions take place?
We’ll usually hold the first two sessions a week apart, followed by the third session three to four weeks later.

How long do I have to complete the sessions?
We aim to complete all three sessions within six months of purchase. If your circumstances change, please contact me so we can discuss the timing.

What if I need to reschedule?
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to move an appointment.

Is this therapy?
No. These sessions are for people looking for practical support with everyday difficulties and feeling stuck. They do not provide diagnosis or treatment for mental health conditions. If your needs fall outside the scope of this work, I’ll discuss that with you.

Let’s work through your situation together

You don’t have to know which tool you need before we meet. We’ll start with what’s happening in your life and work from there.
